Djibouti, 30 July 2026 - As part of the Horn of Africa Digital Market Integration (HDMI) Project Phase I, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, organized a three-day in-country training programme for women and youth-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Djibouti.
During this regional initiative, Mr. Houssein Osman Aden, Managing Director of Futura Solutions Partners, served as the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion, and Development of MPMEs Expert, delivering capacity-building sessions on gender-sensitive digital trade. The programme equipped entrepreneurs with practical knowledge and digital skills to strengthen their businesses, improve market access, and leverage technology for sustainable growth.

In addition to the training sessions, participants received tailored mentorship and coaching, enabling them to translate newly acquired knowledge into practical business strategies and action plans that will enhance the competitiveness and resilience of their enterprises.
